Where the peach tree used to be

For this year, I planted sunflowers, zinnias I started from a dubious seed pack I got for a buck, and cosmos from Mom (thanks, Mom!) to fill space where the peach tree used to be. Yesterday I also transplanted some of Gran’s orange day lilies to this area, three clumps of them, so am envisioning it in my head as a lily area in the seasons ahead….
