Wild Hyacinths

09/07/2017

It has to be at least six or seven years ago now that I ordered a trio of purple spring flowering bulbs from the Arbor Day Society: crocus, tulips and glory of the snow. Well I have never seen glory of the snow in my garden but every year these would come along in summer and I finally figured out that they are wild hyacinths. For a while I was calling them windflowers and then I came across them in a seed catalog recently and had my aha moment.
